 Printer rental and environmental protection

We are deeply concerned about protecting the environment - the clean air we breathe, saving resources, recycling and reusing used equipment and consumables. These are topics that should concern everyone today. By printing responsibly and making the right technical choices, we can contribute to preserving nature. What's more, we can save money at the same time!

Lower energy consumption

Old printing technologies without modern energy management technologies unnecessarily waste large amounts of electricity, pollute the environment and increase your costs. New laser printer models print at lower heating temperatures, with automatic on/off and on-demand control of coolers, making them much more energy efficient. This can save up to several hundred euros of electricity over several years.

We always strive to offer printers that meet the highest environmental standards (e.g. BLUE ANGEL or ENERGY STAR certified).

What about inkjet printers?

Some time ago, inkjet printers simply disappeared from offices. According to many experts, this was due to the fact that, although they were cheap themselves, their running costs were high, they produced high quality but extremely slow prints, the prints were not waterproof, and it was rarely possible to print large volumes of prints.

But the situation is changing. Energy savings, low environmental pollution, minimal maintenance and high efficiency are now becoming key features. As a result, major printer manufacturers have developed new inkjet printing technologies that are ideal for any office. Printing costs have been significantly reduced, cartridges use much less raw material and print speeds have become the same as a laser printer. In addition, new ink composition and paper covering technology have made prints waterproof.

Paper saving

Eco-friendly printers are not enough to protect our environment. It's also important to save paper. Every page that is not printed saves the environment and resources.

Did you know that:

  • A 500-sheet pack of printing paper weighs about 2.5 kg
  • One tree can be used to make about 670 kg of paper
  • 52,000 litres of water are needed to produce one tonne of paper
  • 11,000 kWh of energy are needed to produce 1,000 kg of paper
  • The production of 1000 kg of paper generates about 1100 kg of CO2

To save more paper in your office (and therefore more money), you need to know how much each department or printer in your company prints. A modern printer tracking system helps you keep track of this by providing the data you need in the customer self-service:

Knowing this data makes it easy to decide which documents are worth printing and which are better saved and processed digitally. If you use several printers, then it is easy to decide which one to use for which printouts.

Let's print responsibly - help save the planet for future generations
